Cut CHA Budget

Some of us have been discussing lobbying and calling our elected officials to cut CHA's budget drastically. Call Senator Durbin and Senator Kirk offices and request that that they slash the HUD budget, with the goal of eventually eliminating it. The market rate owners of mixed income units should get a refinancing deal with current rates. Market rate owners put a lot on the line financially and are a driving force in putting TLC at these developments.

C.H.A. shedding risk unrelated to providing housing

My proposal is based on information found on line and as such is an aggregate proposition so please don't hassle with details concentrate on the spirit of my idea.
